My 94 Ford Southwind RV leveling jacks are not working. When I attempt to actiate them all I get is a clicking noise coming from the hydaulic pump area. It sounds like the solinoid for the pump is working but pump does not come on. Any ideas on what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for the help!

My 2001 Coachmen with HWH jacks does that once in a while. I rap lightly on the pump motor with a hammer handle and that usually fixes it. I think there is probably a dead spot on the motor armature. Be sure to check the fluid level also.

The pump can go bad from time to time. If you can hear the motor running and the solenoids click.I use a wooden dowel to help me locate things like this. Hold it against the part and lightly place your ear on the other end. Its easier to hear what is going on inside of things.
If something sounds different then its twin part I always go, hum wounder if that means trouble.

Dick.
