Light above generator and engine

Can anyone advise me where is the switch that turns on the lights in the engine compartment and the front end above the generator is? I purchased this in July and have looked everywhere and just have no clue at this point.

There MAY be a master shut of for all basement and engine , gen set lights , but if the other lights work , and this is the only one that doesn't , may be time to check the bulb and wiring .

Don't have your coach but on mine, there is a switch by the drivers window that says compartment. This is the master for all compartments and then each individual compartment has their own switch. None will work if the master switch is off. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I have tried the Baggage switch which lights up the cargo holds but not the front generator or rear engine area lights. Will check those bulbs tomorrow to see if they are blown and test for current.

Light Above Generator/Engine

(1)When you have the "baggage" switch on, check the light fixtures themselves for a secondary switch. (2) Check the toggle switches across the dash for another switch. (3) Check both bulbs or the socket for 12 volts. I think you will find a secondary switch on the fixture or blown bulbs.

I have an older coach, the light in the engine compartment has a toggle switch on the light itself.

My generator does not slide out, but I do have an under hood light which is controlled by a switch on the dash. labeled under hood.

Your coach is of the same era as my Bounder & since yours was made by FW then, it may have the same switches (give or take a few). Look on the dash for a switch that looks like below. The switch I circled turns on our engine bay light, as well as the scare light outside above the hook ups bay. Since you have your genny in the front, it may light up that too.

That switch also operated the light inside the service bay on my Bounder.

Yes, the Utility Light switch (mines to the driver's left) operates the gen and engine bay lights.
