How are you? This is my first post hope you can help. I have a 2006 Providence 39s. The lighted handrail in the bathroom has gone out and I can't seem find a replacement. Does anyone know where they can be found or are they able to be repaired.
Thanks for the help.

Most likely, the bulb has just burnt out. If you're handy enough, you can take it apart & put in a replacement bulb. Just the same as your entry grab handle.

Purchased my replacement LED's at Radio Shack and soldered them in. Not much trouble and cost about $5.

It can be repaired.. If it's like the lighted assist handle on the entry door the light is an LED.. I found they used a resistor that was way too small in order to make it brighter and thus killed the LED very fast Did the math, put in a Jumbo LED from Radio Shack (required some drilling as well as soldering) increased the resistor size to the proper one for that LED (Required soldering and math ability) and it's as bright as the others around me,,, but no burn out.

You can also get a replacement lighted grab bar right from Fleetwood if you want. Not real expensive either. I had mine replaced last summer after the lexan cracked.

Out of curiosity, how do you get at the bulb or LED?

On my outside grab handle - remove the handle from the wall. Then the top chrome end cap is removable. Two small wires run into a round disc in the top of the lexan. Remove the disc and the LED is on the bottom side. Heat the solder, pull the LED. 15-20 minutes if all goes well :-), but you know how that goes.

The bulb or LED is in one end of the handle, (in the mount) on my Damon the outside grab handle is lit, When I replaced the LED with a new one from my stock of spare parts (Yes, I have that kind of spare) it quickly went out.. I got new one at Radio Shack and did the math,, Found out the series resistor (LEDS require one) was about 1/3 the size needed or less.. Soldered the proper resistor (Also from my spares box) in and... Well, it's been a year now. Still working as of the other night when I tried it.
