Went to RV shop and bought the little red handle with retainer for 4 bucks. Three torx screws and the inside door assemble came right out. Two minutes later had the red handle installed. So far so good. Now a gust of wind came along and blew the door shut. Problem....cant open it with the door handle without the inside latch plate installed. Cant get the door open to put the plate on. So, check all the windows for a forgotten latch...no luck.
So I am pretty well left with taking the door off via the hinge pins. Hammered the heck out of one, from the bottom and it wont budge. Andy tricks on getting the hingepins out that you have discovered.

We have a 2011 Bounder 36R and the door latch is made buy Tri-Mark and I found them on the internet . Our Bounder lost screws( can you believe it ) the dealer had ZERO , wanted me to use Philips ... on a NEW MH oh please come on man... well after going to Tri mark and seeing the same door mechanism ... I printed the doc and then read it ...the screws we not included with it ...so I called ... to get to the bottom of this I bought a dozen nd sent the dealer Demartini 6 so they would hve some .... not even a thank you.
the service at Trimark was good ,, maybe they can help you.

good luck

My Bounder door lock got stuck in the locked position and would not open with the key. A locksmith use a small airbag and separated the drivers window just enough to unlatch it and I went in through the open window. No damage at all. Cost was 55.00

TY Chuck

Thanks guys for all the tips. After pondering the possible solutions and consequences, I used the remove the door window suggestion. The rubber strip comes out easily, the glass took a bit of coaxing to pull off, but it worked great. Got the door open and the inner latch mechanism installed. Only issue is that once you put the glass back, that rubber strip is a real bear to get back in.
So great solution and it cost zero.

My windows are all metal as well, with the exception of the entry door . Good thing as next step would have been removal of the door itself,

It sounds confusing. The door is metal, but the flat glass is installed like a car windshield. The glass goes in against a rubber seal, then a rubber seal get pressed in to hold it in place. Blew me away as well that it is so easy to get ino the rig.

I'll have to take a look at our door next time we take the moho out. Glad you were able to get the problem resolved.

There are screws on the inside to remove the frame ( just like all my other windows ).

Perhaps not different

I looked at the inside of my unit, and yes, same as yours, there is a metal frame with screws to remove the entire frame/glass assembly from the door. I was referring to how the glass was installed on to the metal frame with the seal strip on the outside. Remove the rubber and the glass comes out.

All framed windows are pretty much the same, in all makes, FW, Newmar,Tiffin ect... The franes are 2 piece aluminum as everyone knows. The outside part holds the glass which is usally layed into the frame and held in place with a 1/4" strip of rubber. Same principal as windows in a stick and brick home. Look closely at your window and you will see the seem on that rubber strip.
