On my tank I found the gauge in this position in first picture below
It appears to have to magnets on the back of it and will "stick" in this position, but not very securely. Is it broke or should I attach it somehow in this position?

There are 4 ears that hold the gage in position. If they are broken, that is why the gage will not stay on. The magnets is what operates the gage by reacting to the magnetic propane level float inside the tank. Amazon sells this gage.

Same thing happened to the gauge on my 2005 Bounder 39Z a couple years ago. I should have ordered one on-line but instead had Fleetwood send one. Amazon sounds like a better way to go price wise.
