Lucky Find
Look at what I discovered on our new to us 2001 Bounder 31W. Now if I can find the trailer brake controller in there.

I didn't know the dash tipped up like that. I found the controller for the backup camera so I can add 2 side view cameras and I'm looking for the brake controller wire. I also discovered a fuse block, good to know.

That's interesting... I wonder if my 97 Pace Arrow dash does this... it looks similar, but has more "stuff" in it. I'd like to replace the radio in mine with a newer one, and was hesitant to open that can of worms.

What holds it down?

I was poking around looking for a place to mount some additional switches and discovered by accident the dash tips up.

Fleetwood had a great idea when they did this feature. Here is a pic of my 98 Pace Arrow dash, great to work on. On mine I have push my dash to the left, as it catches on the right side, and then lift up.

Cool, I wish my Winny was like that! Major pain to access the inside of the dash.

That dash looks just like my 97 Pace Arrow, so I bet mine does, too! This is great! It'll make it SO much easier for me to either fix the audio for the CD changer, or to replace the radio in the spring!

That feature came to life on the first Bounder in 1986.

Eureka! Found out 4 screws and front cover comes of accessing dash innards so now I'm happy. Putting 3 gauges in dash as well as dual USB outlet!

Careful around the full/empty tank guages. There an unprotected 12volt circuit board in there. It shorts out real easy. Ask me how know.
