The founding father of the Bounder thread is MIA. The General was so adamant about having a Bounder subset but now he's gone missing in action. Anybody else missed him? The General, if you're out there its bed check...where are you?

I PM'd him a few weeks ago when I hadn't seen him on the forum. He was busy, he's the el president of his local Bounder Club ( those poor people ). He's like a bad penny, he'll show up and you'll be in trouble as usual

I had to google that phrase. I'm no youngster ( younger than Elkhardtjim , but then most are ) , but I never heard it . We just used to say " come out, come out wherever you are. That was Bronx for get the heck out .

Hi guys,

I've been in hospital since 4/11 and have been released on 4/14.
I'll know if my cancer has metastasized within a few weeks.
Have not been able to sit too long so had to take care of business first then enjoy Jims brilliant comments
Thanks for the kind thoughts Cliff,

Steve

Hi Steve

Sorry for your Big C situation. Hope all turns out well. I need your help in keeping Jim at bay ( full time job as you know ).

He's off bird watching somewhere, you know what they say about " for the birds".

I emailed him and told him you're back. He really does care.

Hey Cliff,

I told my wife, Dale, that Jim's a good man with bad dental work making him speak with a forked tongue.
Since he's already bird watching, flip him the bird for me.
Never forget that if Fleetwood falls apart, Bounderites will always be there for each other and usually covered with grease, even Jim.

Steve, you will be in my prayers for complete and total healing. I've been through the entire process as a caregiver and understand from that side the ups and downs associated with cancer. None of it fun.

Best wishes for quick healing so you can get the grease gun out for heavy duty work.

Hey Jim,

You know I would not abandon you or our fellow Bounderites unless
I could no longer write, which may not be for a long time?
If that happens, I believe I will haunt you and Cliff so I can pass on some brilliant thoughts through you.

Haunting is the bright side of our relationship.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Jim,

Steve

The General...
Are you the Prez for the "Gold Country-Roos" chapter? SacsTC and I had been one of the original founding members.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you personally. I am very close to your location.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.

MONACO MAMA,

I'm in awe and will pass this on to GCR.
Yes, I'm the Pres. and will remain so for at least another year.
The other charter members in our group are: Clyde/Alice Carter, Speed/Georgene Craven.
GCR was chartered in 1989 and remains strong with 20+RIGS.
Thanks for your kind thoughts,

Steve
