I am considering moving up to a motorhome for fulltiming. Of the Fleetwood brand, I am considering a Discovery, Providence or Excursion (same floor plan in each model). Anyone with comments on each? I'm not interested in a war of words so please be constructive in your comments. I am interested in the quality and reliability of each of the models. Also the differences of the power plants.

Having lived long term in both a class A and a 5er, I'd pick a 5er for full-timing ofer a class A. Lots of advantages for the 5er and truck over the class A.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Congrats on going full time. As you can see, the choice of MH or 5-r is definitely a personal preference. I'm sure whatever you choose, you'll have wonderful travels & make many memories.

As for the distictions between the Fleetwood lines you list, I think they all are nice units. Maybe I'm prejudiced since we own a Fleetwood & would like to move up to a Discovery or Providence in a few years. The higher up the model line you go, the more bells & whistles you get, you get more HP & the more money they cost. Fleetwood just moved from Cat to Cummins for their engines for 2008. Hopefully some of the Cat & Cummins experts here will chime in on performance.

I don't think you'd be dissappointed with any of them. Good luck with your search. Let us know what you get.

NLOVNIT,
I agree with you we love our 1999 Bounder 36'. If or when you decide to move up, I would be very interested in your 2006 Bounder.
