If you use the Google search box at the top right of the page, you can find much about mud flaps. If hung too low, they can actually sweep up road debris. I prefer flaps directly behind each dual tire rather than a RV wide flap.

Instead of mudflaps, we got the Roadmaster Tow Defender, a mesh screen between the RV and the towed vehicle. We have yet to get a rock chip or scratch on the front of our CRV. We are very happy with the Tow Defender.

I thought I read the tire flaps right behind the tires on the Bounder were sufficient.
A mudflap was not required.
