After 14 months of, intensive, searching I have finally found my motor home!

She is a 31' 1990 Itasca Suncruiser (see brochure here http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13179510011568). I have the 31' with twin beds.

It has everything that I need and I got it for a steal of a price! The guy who owned it never planned to sell but was in the middle of a divorce and it had to go. To top it off, it had to go for a lot less than it was worth as he had to keep it under a specified dollar amount or the sale priced would need to be split with the ex. Feel bad for him but happy for me

A friend of mine is a mechanical wiz and he is going over that part. Then his RV guy will go over the coach.

I will be selling my little 18' TT and will need to update my avatar (ahhhh)

Thanks for letting me share, I am pretty excited!!

Sheila

I hope everything checks out alright on it.

With the 7 Pomeranians I'm sure you will appreciate the extra space.

I'm betting you will love your new RV. We love our '94 Winnebago and are constantly amazed at how well it is designed. There are little details everywhere that show that it is well thought out.

Cheers!

Michelle

Your story reminds me of what I think is an urban legend from the UK. A guy was looking for a cheap pedal car for his 4 year-old and saw an ad in the paper. He called up, got a rather mysterious response from the seller, but decided to go and look. The thing was priced at £20.

When he got there, he was amazed to find the lady was selling a 5 year-old Rolls Royce for £20. Needless to say, he bought it, but she explained the situation to him first.

Her husband had passed away a week earlier. When the will was read, she was amazed to find that he'd kept another woman as his mistress for many years. His will directed her to sell the Rolls and divide the money she got for it with the mistress. So she sold it for what, back then, was about $40!

Good luck with the new-to-you coach. It's almost the same size as ours and just a couple of years older. Does it have slides? We feel very lucky to have found ours for the price.

Congrats! Sounds like you got a nice deal on a nice rig. Best of luck with it.
