Anyone have any experience with those?

Bumps mine came with fans that screw into the back of the bulb.I also got new retainers since mine were brittle andbroken tabs. The new ones were shorter so they worked great. In addition to that i added cree led fog lights down low on the bumper(I had no fogs installed previously).

Yea ... the Cree lights are actually designed pretty well. The little fan just pops out the back of the fixture where the electrical connection had been. Here is a picture of the fan poking out of the back of the headlamp fixture. \ken

How does it keep moisture out?

It's under the fiberglass front cap. I guess it is far enough back in there that contact with moisture is inconsequential. On the motorhome, the back of the headlamp assembly is actually better protected than the headlamp assembly is on the Mountaineer that borne the fixture. \ken

Lights

It is nice to know that others have a problem. I own A 2012 Storm. The headlights are horrible. When I contacted Fleetwood, they were not helpful with this problem and were surprised I was having trouble. I have adjusted the headlights which helped some. I avoid driving at night. I am considering some after market driving lights. The driving lights on the Storm are worthless. They only work on high beam which is bass always.

Bounder headlights

I tried all types of bulbs to no avail, pretty much the reflectors in the standard headlights are terrible. Driving at night was just plain scary.

I fitted a set of rectangular spotlights below the front spoiler near the jacks and wired these via relay to my low beam. then fitted an outsize pair of KC hi lights above plastic bumper on edge of grill, wired via relay to high beam. These look huge in the store but perfect on the front, come with 100w halogens but if u change to 55w they will be street legal. What a difference, I can see for miles. I can share pics if u like

LEDS

Yeah Bumps, i put some led replacement bulbs in my 2001 bounder. Got them on amazon i also installed a set of led fog/driving lights down low recessed in the bumper. Works great at least 200 percent brighter. At least i can now drive at night without white knucling it.

Does anyone know what automobile/truck headlight the 2003 Bounder 35R used originally?

We have the same issues and our lenses are yellowed (already tried the toopaste) and have spider vein type cracks.

I don't mind driving at night but after getting off I-80 at N Platte, Nebraska and driving Hyw 83 North through S. Dakota and N. Dakota to I-90 ...certainly educated me about RV headlights It was our first long trip...we have since decided that being retired means also taking it easy and stopping early to sit back and have a beer...or two.

Not sure about the 2003 35R. My 2001 33R has late 90's Ford F series pickup headlights.

Thanks for your help...

I looked at the headlight lens and this is what is raised on the bottom;
HB4 - HB3 (these are the bulbs)
DOT - 97 6K (2) I2 (2) P HR
TYC - 20 - 5173 R 5174 L

BuyRVLights.com has the parts as:
RVL207-Pair

Fleetwood Parts:
343528 Driver
343527 Passenger

Is there anything in any of this information that would help find the Auto/truck equivalent...

Thanks again
Bernie
