We have a few mystery items in our recently purchased 2007 Bounder. First, a pair of unexplained "somethings" that were stored with the manuals and reference info. They are made of stainless steel and have unusual machined tips... not typical points. And second, two small plastic fittings on the walls; one in the galley (beside the dinette), the other in the bedroom. Both have low voltage wires connected - the galley fitting has holes for 4 pins, while the bedroom one has no holes at all? No reference either to what these might be in any of our manuals.
Can anyone help with identification?

I believe the U shaped thing is a tool to remove the dash radio, and the two wall things are temperature sensors for the air conditioners, but I'm sure some Fleetwood owners will soon be along to give the definitive answer.

Y.u are right on the u shaped tool. That is used to remove the radio. Look into the radio owners manual and you will see this tool. If you don't have the manual, look up on the web under the name of the radio. The two white items shown look like temp sensors used for the heat and a/c.

Boundersteve. Now that you have your answers. What model and chassis is your Bounder?

The 4 pin connector looks like an old style Modular phone jack.

Not so sure about those answers - the radio manual/install does not id my mystery "tools". To answer your question: 2007 33R Bounder F53 V-10 Ford.

the stainless piece of metal is to unlock your radio to remove it from the dash. You should have 2 for the right and left side of radio, find the small holes in radio, insert stainless and push and it will unlock the radio for removal.
The plastic fittings are thermostats connected to your heater.

Boundersteve...
I am a previous 2-time Bounder Owner and I promise you the "U-shaped tool" is in fact a radio removal tool.
I posted pictures in a previous thread located here ...just look for the post by MonacoMama and you will find three photos showing the tool, the radio and how it works...
The other wall things are in fact temperature sensors...one for each zone...I am sure the Admin who owns a Bounder will eventually confirm this.

Good Luck with your new to you Bounder...I am sure you will enjoy it !

On my Bounder the tool is to remove my radio. On my Bounder those little white things with two wires are temperature sensors for the a/c and heat. They are sensors (sort of like on the fin of your refer) not thermostats. Mine are different in color. They are brown not white.

My Bounder is a 2008. Maybe your 2007 is different.

The stainless u shaped tools are used to release the locking tabs on the dash radio so that the radio can be removed.
The little white units are remote temp sensors for the dual thermostat. One for the front air conditioner/heatpump and the other for the rear unit.
