It should be with the water connections at the back of the water heater. Are you sure you have a bypass? My coach does not have a water bypass.

They are usually located near the water heater. Mine didn't have one, but my Dad installed one on the back of the water heater when he had the MH. It's just one hose and one brass valve that you can barely see if you don't know where it is.

I wouldn't trust the manual. It says mine has a couple things that I know it doesn't. They manuals are very generic and usually cover several models.

Granted my Southwind is a 1987 but the bypass valve is located under the sink, behind a panel. I have to remove the screws to remove the panel to access the bypass valve. Not intuitive or handy what-so-ever. And the manual was no help at all in finding the bypass valve.

The only reason I know where it is is because it went bad and was replaced by an RV dealer. They left the panel off so when I I looked under the sink I could see the valve. I live where it does not get very cold so I never had the need to pump the lines full of antifreeze and never looked for it, just drain the tank and blow the lines out and put antifreeze in the traps and toilet. Quite nice compared to when we lived in Montana and the Dakotas where I had to put antifreeze in the lines, traps, etc. and needed to bypass the water tank.

Under the sink would be a good guess, as that is where mine is on a '97 Bounder.

Couldn't find it at all so I might not have one. I traced the water lines all the way to the water heater. So I gave in and bought 6 more gallons of antifreeze. Now I have it all winterized.

Wheeeew, all that antifreeze is going to taste and smell really nasty when it gets hot.
