Need some water filter education

Good evening! We picked up our Bounder 35k, and are so excited! Out this weekend trying everything out. Since the unit is used, it was recommended we replace the water filter cartridge. Papers in the rv indicate the water filter is a flow-pur 10 inch system, using #8 cartridges. So does that mean I can buy any brand as long as it says it is a #8 cartridge? We have no experience with water filters as our old rv did not have one. Any recommendations or advice is much appreciated!!!

Any #8, 10 inch cartridge replacement should work. There are various types of filter cartridges, such as carbon based filters, as well as various micron sizes (e.g., 5 or 10 micron).

The choice is yours, but any #8, 10 inch cartridge should do the job. Hope that helps!

Enjoy the new rig!
