New American Eagle Owner - 2008 42F

Hello,
We just traded our 2014 Tiffin Open Road 35QBA V10 Ford coach for a 2008 Eagle 42F. We are really happy and excited about our new coach. Man, there are A LOT of differences in a Gas coach vs. this Diesel Coach. I can not get over how well this thing will STOP. The ride, handling and brakes make this thing a dream to drive. It has the 500 HP Diesel which seems to have a lot of power to move this HOUSE down the road.

I do all my own maintenance and repair work and I find these forums VERY helpful. Hope to get to chat and learn from all here.

Just saying hello........

Congrats We looked at an American Eagle at the LA RV show and fell in love. If we were ever to upgrade I think that would be the coach.

You'll love your Eagle. When (not "if") you need advice or have a problem/question, call the tech line 800-435-7345. They are great, the best around, and will talk you through, step by step, lots of issues.

We have a 2011 45B that we bought in September and love it. I agree with American Coach help line. They will answer all questions and will tell you when you can't fix yourself.

We have a 15 Discovery. We have to avoid shows and dealers selling American RV products. Saw them building them at factory.
Though we have 80+% of their amenities, we just can't justify the 250-400 grand more to buy a new one.
