Welcome to IRV2.com and Congrats on the new coach - hope you enjoy many happy miles.
Most of the stuff in a motorhome is pretty generic, so read the general Motorhome forums as well as this Fleetwood specific one.

Hello Gotago and welcome to the Fleetwood gang. You've purchased a beautiful RV and since it's not brand new...all the minor 'bugs' have been resolved! Enjoy mate!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I just picked up the RV today and drove it from Frederick MD to Tioga county PA (very northern PA). About 4.5 hours and not a glitch. My 3 yr old son and 4 yr old daughter just finished watching a dvd, and we are snug in our RV camping in our driveway during a wicked winter storm. Still trying how to get the satelite dish to work with our box and the rv's tv. The owners manual is for a deisel 99 discovery not a gas 99 vision...other than that no complaints. The RV did much better than I thought it would up the steep inclines of rt 15 in North PA. It has banks power and I am told thats a big help, however I have nothing else to compare it too. The folks at Beckley's RV in MD were very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Welcome to the forum. You got a good unit and being just down the road from you I'm sure you're getting a good watertight test today. I think you'll find it's a pretty good IFR platform, but more importantly the cabin crew will like it.

It was solid IFR for about 30 hours..no leaks. We spent a second night in the RV out of necessity, our power was out for 22 hours. My cabin crew actually used to be my cabin crew, she and the kids loved it. I just moved the RV to a better location on our property and discovered that the stairs and the jacks don't like the ice and cold. They worked perfect the other day so I'm hoping its the yuck causing the problems. The stairs dont completely retract upright, and the jacks, although retracted completely still show a "jacks down". The jacks are hydraulic, the stairs electric...any ideas?

Hydraulic jacks usually depend on the springs to retract and I believe they have sensors like a squat switch to show you a "gear down"....the cold snap coming off all the moisture was pretty extreme so I'd wait and see how things go with several cycles in more normal conditions. The stairs will be easier to check.
They either froze up and got nasty for the moment (and will work fine later) or they may need a good clean and lube. They may also be
binding together from a little bending and that too can be readily fixed. At least the stairs are in a good visible place to play with.
