Please post a picture of the engine cover. I would like to see how it came out.

Never a dull moment. Must have been divine intervention for the starter to go bad yesterday. Took it to the garage that does my work for me this morning and they had a new one put on in 45min. We checked the jacks because I have had a leaky driver side front one for a while which made it dip down to the left when the jacks were down. Filled up the hydraulic fluid and he was able to tighten the hose a 1/4 turn. We put the jacks back down and up a couple times and there was no more leak. The bigger issue turned out to be the inner tire on the driver side. It was completely flat. The had to use an air cannon to re bead to tire on the rim. At first I thought back to a pile of trash somebody stuck under the RV that I accidentally ran over at a tailgate in the fall. It turns out it was a bad valve stem extender. One of the chrome add ons you can buy aftermarket. When he re beaded the tire it was losing 10 pounds every minute and would have been flat again in no time. He sprayed the extension and saw it bubbling. He removed it and bingo! No leak. I had him take it off the passenger side as well, even though it was ok.

No problem on the pictures. Trips always take priority over pictures. The extenders are always a problematic area. I have them but will be going to the long valve stems when it is time to install new tires.

The engine cover has thermo cool on the under side and GT mat under the carpet. Much quieter. And the Banks makes a difference in the first 100 ft of acceleration.
