Well I picked up the Southwind New Years eve and all in all I am happy, but I have a few questions.

I checked the tires and had them rotated and balance (maybe should not have been rotated). When I get around 65 to try to pass I get some vibration not a super lot but enough that my side mirror shakes. What should I be checking.

I have a whole list of things that I will be installing and changing over the next couple of weeks. I first family voyage will be in April. Believe it or not my husband hates driving RVs so this is my toy and I will be the primary driver and he will be the back up.

Carla, Welcome to the RV world!
Congratulations on your RV purchase.Which floorplan did you get? And which chassis is it on, Ford or Workhorse? I had a 2005 Pace Arrow 37C on a Workhorse. The best product I have found for tires is Dyna Beads. They will balance your tires as you drive and are easy to install yourself through the valve stem. I had a tire on the front that had a vibration at speed, used the beads and smoothed it out. Here is a link .

Richard,

I have the 32VS on the Workhorse chassis. I will look at Dyna Beads.

If you can see the mirror shake, it is bad (or the mirror is loose!). I go back to where you had it balanced and tell them there is still a problem. Either they did not do a good job or you lost a weight after leaving there.
