New to me Revolution

traded in my 2002 Winnebago ultimate advantage for a 2008 Fleetwood Revolution and wow what a difference with a tag axle, although I hope my luck gets better. On way home from dealership had an owl come at the windshield. Luckily he missed windshield right in front of me but hit the driver mirror busting out the mirror which hit against rv. Minor damage but less expensive than me hurt or the windshield. Speaking of windshield, we went on first outing this weekend, rock hit it causing a 9 inch crack from the top down and satellite/directv box not communicating with each other. Well, I sure it will get better cause I still happy with it.

My 2007 Revolution has a KVM in motion satellite dish. It comes configured for
Directv but mine was changed to Dish so I had to reprogram it. No KVM service local so I used hyper terminal on my laptop to program. Mine also has a switch to activate the dish. There are also several cables up there to choose from and may not be labeled.

I had to fight with my KVH in motion. Updated some code and had to reprogram for Directv. Works like a champ now.
Next on the list, fogged Windows.

Previous owner had left a directv box in it so I fairly sure it set up for that. I thought I could slide my card out of mine and put in that box but directv said I wrong so they sending me another box and taking back my dvr one. Hope works after that. I can hear the antennea whirling around so I know it trying just. The on switch has yellow light, does it stay yellow or change color when locked on satellite?

To the best of my recollection mine does not change colors. If we are settled I will usually cut it off after finding a good signal.

We stepped in and own a 2002 Revolution 40c almost 3 years now. As I see it is well built and a dream to drive. Some problems to watch is roof seams, Bird system (electric).
