Newer Bounder with the dining table/credenza option, pictures please
I know that the newer Bounders (33C, 35K) have the option of a free-standing dinette with credenza, but all I've seen is the booth dinette. If anyone has one with the credenza, would you please post some pics of it??? We are considering removing our booths and building a credenza that fits under the existing table and purchasing some chairs, but would love to see what Fleetwood's credenza looks like. Very hard to find pictures of this set-up online. Thanks in advance!!

An internet search pulled up this. It's a 2015 35k.

Yep Lori, that is the one picture that I've been able to find. I'd love to see some better picture of the cabinet below the table. Also, the table looks smaller than the table for the booth, and I'm wondering if it folds down. Are those sliding door underneath? That's what it looks like.

I am attending a camping rally at Lazydays Campground starting this Sunday. If Lazydays has a Bounder with a free standing table, I will take photos and post them.

We went to the Tampa RV show last week and could hardly find anything without the darn booth. Everyone wants a bed I guess. We fell in love with a Holiday Rambler that had a different kind of booth, the table could be removed and left you a u shaped couch. It was ideal for us. anything but a booth. Also, that table doesnt fold down but extends further out to seat 4, I believe.

This thread has a lot of links:

You might also find a local cabinet maker can custom build at a competitive price.
Let us know what you do as there are a lot of folks who would like to lose the dinette. ;-)

I did speak to Fleetwood and got a price for their credenza....$2598.75 plus shipping!!! Yowza!!!! There is a guy in Alabama that used to work for Tiffin and has built credenzas for others. But before we call him or a local cabinet builder, my handyman hubby is going to give it a shot. I think we will use the table so much more without the booth seats.

Unfortunately, Lazydays does not have any current stock with the table st up. They actually only have one 35K and one 33C on the lot and both have booths.

Take a look through the pictures of this 2015 35K that is at Caledonia RV in
New York. It is one of the few that I have seen with the credenza vs. the
dinette booth.

Thanks for the link to more pictures!! As I said in an early post, we decided to give it a shot at building our own credenza. We removed the booth seats for ease of measuring and went ahead and bought the chairs we'd seen and liked. After removing the booths, I liked the look so much that we've decided to not build something at this time. My concern had been storage of the stuff in the booth drawers, but found a place for all of it (most went into the trash! Haha). We bought a small end table for the other end of the sofa. So now I'm pretty happy with the living area of our RV.

So, most of the shots I've seen show a small table coming out of a slot in the cradenza. Does that enable it to be folded, or is the slot just a way to mount the table securely without an extra foot? Also, what is the space in the cabinet below the table used for, as I can never get a good look at that area because of the table above?
