NO Power, Confused !

Just purchased a Fleetwood Pace Arrow 36D. Was showing the coach to some friends and also trying to figure out all the features in the MotorHome. Went out to start the coach the next day and everything is dead! No power and cannot start the engine or anything.??? Is there a secret switch somewhere that turns off the entire power source to the RV ?

There should be a switch by the entry door, usally along side of other switches like room lights and porch lights, they call it a salesman switch, when it is tuned off pretty much everything is OFF. Check owners manual for correct discription.
Good luck,
John G.

There should be two switches. One for the coach batteries and another for the chassis battery. The coach somewhere close to the entry door and the chassis switch in or very close to the coach battery. Maybe something was left on without being connected to shore power and the batteries are just dead. My guess would be dead batteries

Good luck

Most Pace Arrows have two switches over the entry door. One is marked main and one aux. The top is on. try pushing these. If this doesn't work, check the voltage on the batteries.

Hi, Since you just purchased the unit I would first check the manual for where the switches are and second I would get a hold of dealer you bought it from or Fleetwood.

There should also be a battery boost switch someplace that will utilize the house batteries to help the engine battery start the coach.

Hope this helps!

Tried the switches above the door, they do not kick in.

I noticed this problem after I disconnected the shore power. I was checking out some of the electrical items such as the air and the refer. Batteries are good. Whats got me is everything is dead. If you switch the aux off, you could still start the engine before???

yes. as long as the main switch is turned on, the engine would start with the aux. turned off.

I didn't see what year your coach is but I have a 2002 32H bounder. When this happened to me, I found a 40 amp fuse that was blown. On my coach this fuse box is located under the hood on the firewall. The cause turned out to be a chaffed wire in the steering column. When the tilt mechanism was used, the wires were to short and eventually shorted to the frame. It took about 5 fuses to figure this out. I extended the wires and now have spare fuses for this problem. I would check all hi amperage fuses at this point.

checked the batteries again and they are drained . A week ago they were all OK. I used an old battery tester, that was Bad. Borrowed a load tester from the neighbor and it showed 0 Is there a chance something happened to the converter?
