no power to fuse block circuit

On my 83 Pace Arrow last year I had the same problem but it somehow corrected itself, the circit that powers my radio, windshield wipers and heater control module. Could it be on a circuit breaker

OK I now have a wire that is no longer providing my fuse box with power, due to a short. Being I have not been able to follow the problem wire far enough to locate the problem, and I have also not been able to locate that wire on the inside of my dash before it goes to the fuse block. I have been unable to make the needed repairs.

I have a camping trip in 2 weeks and dont want to mess with it right now, so I was thinking I would pull a new power supply wire, and add a spade conection and then place this connect to the outside of the fuse panel to porvide a new fused power source to this circuit.

Would it work and solve my problem and will it be a safe repair?

Before someone asks yes all other fuses are good.

The fuse block should get it's power from the battery and have a inline fuse. You should be able to run a new line but make sure you disconnect the old one from the fuse block. The things you said that did not work are on separate fuses. I would find the power wire check for a short make sure somethings not grounded out causing the problem.

I pulled the ignition switch out and discovered that one of the plastic locking tab broke off, and now my connection is loose, does anyone know how to make that repair? I put electrician tape to get it to work temporary, but it won't last, and I need to find a way to keep it together. Any ideas welcomed
