Noise from driver side window.
2005 Southwind 32vs. Above 50 mph there is an air leak noise coming from the driver side window. I have inspected the entire window area (sitting still) and find no gaps or anything to cause the noise. I even looked at body joints in that area. No water leaks. The noise is irritating.
Any experience or suggestions?

Look at the moulding around the window and if you have a driver side door be sure and look all around the door. Mine came from the bottom of the door where the moulding was aged.Hope you find it cause I know it is driving you crazy

On the bottom of my windows there are some weep holes, maybe 5, that have a plastic cover over them. Those covers come off. I'm missing a couple.
Temporarily tape over those holes and or along the seams of the window all the way around until you can discover where the noise is being generated.

There are weep hole covers on mine.
If they are missing or loose , I would get the noise you're experiencing.

Thanks for the replies. Not one cover over the weep holes. I see the imprint where they may have been. I'll put tape over them next time out and see if that's the noise source.

I assume you realize that taping them is not a permenant fix. Leaving them covered with tape will impede drainage. Replacemnt covers are available in different sizes and are driverside/passenger side specific. Been there...done that.

Some rv's do not come with covers. As suggested I put tape over mine that matched the color of the window frame. Just put it over the length of the hole and don't press the tape in far enough to block the hole. Any moisture can still get out and the wind noise will be gone. My current RV had weep hole covers and they were noisy. I now have tape where they were. You can find colored plastic tape at most hardware stores.
