Norcold 1200 fridge issues temp fix

So I've had 2 issues with fridge and have paid to fix both... Here's
What I have learned.
issue #1. Fridge shuts off and Red light blinking on the recall box. Note this box was installed because there has been instances where the refrigerator overheats and can cause a fire. This box is also sensitive to water. We have been in heavy wind and rain conditions and this issue occurs. I have a small magnet and when this occurs hold magnet onto box just above the red light for about 10 seconds. If you hear a click, the reset switch has been reset and red light goes off.

Issue #2 "no co "flashing on refrigerator which is an indicator that the cooling unit is not working. Note that if you open vent outside and have a heavy smell of ammonia you need to call a dealer. If not, follow these instructions

I would highly recommend replacing your cooling unit with one from this site as it will just be a matter of time before it fails completely:

We replaced ours back in 2013 and the new unit works great. I certainly wouldn't replace it with another Norcold unit.

Good luck & Safe travels...
