overhead storage gas cylinders

I have a 1996 pace arrow vision 35ft, need the gas cylinders that support and hold up the center storage door over the front seats, does anyone know where these can be purchased or others that may work, I purchased 2 at auto parts store but they seem to be too strong. Thanks

CW has them for basement doors, don't know about inside doors.

Have you tried FW? 800-322-8216. They may still use the same ones or possibly can direct you to another source.

Was having the same problem as you with the struts. To many questions when you go to purchase them. What's the compressed length, what's the extended length, what's the pressure you want? Unlike you I had a new cabinet door made where the front tv used to be, so I had nothing to go on with this experience. You on the other hand could probably contact the mfr. and they could direct you to a place where you could get them. You may even be able to purchase them from the mfr. Give them a call. As for me I'm still looking but I'm sure I'll find what I need some day.
