The answer pretty much depends upon where the fill hose is connected. There are two options.

The answer is no if you have the factory mounted filter. The water filter is on supply line to the fixtures after the fresh water tank. It does filter your city water to the faucets but not into the tank

I assume there is a water tank fill just aft of the entrance door that allows water to be dumped directly into the fresh water tank using a hose. The other option is to fill it from the wet bay. All this is assuming your 37C Pace is, in this respect, similar to my 37C Southwind. In any event, filtering the water before it goes into the tank probably has no real value unless you intend to drink it.If so ,what do you know about the condition of the inside of the tank and do you want to drink water from it? I hope this is of some value.

City water filtering

The only filter on my 02 Pace was under the kitchen sink for supply water to the 'drinking water faucet' and 'ice-maker'. I wanted better filtration for the entire RV so I added one. Then eventually two. It was a tight fit mounting the 'white housing' filter and still have access to the outlets on one side and the tank flush on the other. When changing the 'white housing' filter I found sand in the bottom of the filter so I added one of those inline filters from Wal-Mart to catch the big stuff. I now use a charcoal filter in the 'white housing' filter so all the water to the RV is filtered. This setup also filters the fresh water tank fill supply. The water supply hose is connected to a 'T' below the blue inline filter.
