Pace Arrow Brake and Hazard Lights Not Working
Hi guys , been scratching my head bald over this , I just bought a new to me 1999 pace arrow on a Ford F53 chassis . while bringing it home with my son following he noticed the brake lights weren't working , when I went to investigate I found the hazard lights were not working either , all other lights work . So I grabbed my handy multi meter and test light and started digging , the fuses all tested good the switch on the pedal has power going to it and when I press the pedal the brake booster pump comes on but I have no idea which wire goes to the brake lights , further testing at the hazard switch shows there is no power at the terminal marked "BATT" on the connector so at this point I am leaning towards that as the place to start . Problem is I have been unable to find a source for the schematic so I can trace where it gets its power . any help you good folks could be would be greatly appreciated

The four way flasher switch is on the top side of the steering column. This has a habit of the connector falling off.
Check it first.

Did you find the problem? There is a fuse in that line. Here is a electrical diagram for a 2001. It should be similar to the 1999.

By the diagram, fuse #9 on the Ford fuse panel under the dash ("CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX") has failed.

The fuse that feeds #9 on the Passenger Compartment Fuse Panel is (probably) Fuse #14 in the Power Distribution Box (PDB). I say "probably" because I don't have access to an F-53 owner's manual for a 1999 chassis. The manual for a 2001 chassis (link here, page 45) says its a 60A MAXI fuse. That fuse also feeds the left- and right-turn signal relays, so I'd expect those to not work, either.
The PDB is under the hood, against the firewall, in the middle, near the top of the firewall. There's a trick to opening it: You'd think the latch is on the end opposite the hinge. It isn't. Instead, go to the end opposite the hinge and run your finger around the corner to the top or the bottom. There you'll find the latch. Pull it towards you to release the cover, then swing the cover aside on the hinge.
Let us know if you find 12V on both sides of PDB fuse #14. Did you check for 12V at PCFP fuse #9, or just visually check the fuse condition?

checked both and I have power on both sides of them , thinking it has to be a break in the wire or a fuse link inline somewhere
