I have a 1990 pace arrow and the generator works but the appliances won't turn on. The brakers are on the gen seems to be all hooked up properly is there some other switch or plug I need to hook up. Just made a impulse buy at the auction and bought it love it just want to figure it all out before I hit the road.

You didn't say what generator you have, but one of the problems that can occur with generators is that if they are not "exercised" under a full load on a regular basis (the Onan manual says monthly) it will run but will not generate power. If your generator is running and a test meter shows no voltage at the outlets, you might want a qualified technician to look at it.

There are two ways to deliver the power from the Gen. to the coach. A simple outlet which you plug the power cord into. Or a changeover box. If you check the gen. and find it is putting out power, Check the outlet or the changeover box.

Ok i finally have power and gen is up and running. I have all systems go for now. haha. Thank you all for the replys. and help. i think what i wasnt doing was letting the system do its internal check and fully power up. i would only wait a minuit or two and expect it to autiomatically start up, and the circut breaker (one of them) was off in the gen. flipped it on and wala i had power....
