Pace Arrow Slide problem

I have a 2004 Pace Arrow 37C. The living room slide has started giving me a problem when I am pulling it in. It stops while lifting above the floor. I can release the switch and rehit and it will move further. Once the leading edge is up, it works the same as normal. Does anyone know what might be going on?

I have a 2004 Southwind 37C. Had problems getting the kitchen slide to extend. Would move part way out and then stop. Had to push on slide from inside while extending to get it all the way out. Dealer lubed seals and slide mechanism and has worked perfect since.

Recommend you lub the slide and see if that helps. Also how much weight do you have in the basement comparments of slide?

try leaving the motor runing you will have about 14.4 voltes for moveing the slide

I have a 2006 Expedition that was doing the same thing. They replaced the Motor but it is still doing it. I will be taking it in again while it is still under warrenty. There is not much in my basement either. My other slide was tipping out on the top. They shimmed it up so that it was no so loose. That seems to have fixed that problem.

not sure if the same problem or not, but my son had a problem with his southwind large slide, the drive motor was replaced , it worked ok for awhile and then he had the same problem slide was stuck out, so he started looking around and under ythe hood is the 12 volt distribution box and inside he found a loose conection and it fixed the slide problem. i also had a problem with my bounder rear camera going out fleetwood replaced three monitors and one camera and i still had the problem, so i looked in the same box under the hood and found a loose cabel and it fixed my camera.
