Follow-up: window just removed. I used a ladder like on your picture. Tomorrow I should find a glass specialist.

Well... I have the window on the floor but I don't know yet how I will separate the components. I have found no video on youtube. I removed the screws but everything seems so TIGHT. Did you bring the whole window to the repair shop or did you extract the double glass from the window?

Thanks in advance

I didn't take the glass out of the metal frame. I brought the whole assembly to the glass shop. The shop disassembled the window, made new double pane glass and reassembled the window. Just so you know, there was a small extra charge for cutting a rounded corner on one of the panes, but as I recall the whole thing cost about $450.

By the way, don't use silicone to reinstall the window. I used butyl caulk that came in a ribbon-like spool--the same stuff that was used originally. It took some time and elbow grease to clean up the old caulk, so plan on having a beverage or two handy to help with the process!
