Hi folks

I'm toying with doing the Ultrapower upgrade and taking out the ECM out the front looks like a hassle. My question is how do you remove the doghouse--its a 2004 Bounder 36s--the manual sez just becareful as it is heavy and make sure the gaskets are in place.

While I have you any ideas on how or where to run rear surround speaker wires--I'd like to upgrade to a 5.1 Dolby--the fronts and the center no problem but I'm not sure how to get past /through / around the slide out.

Thanks

Bill

I have an '05 Bounder 36Z, to remove the doghouse access plate there are three phillips screws, remove them and the plate comes off. Just make sure the rubber gasket is in place when you replace the plate.

The ECM unit on mine is right in front of the engine accessible from the front. Drop the "hood" and it's almost in your face. Not sure why yours is so difficult to get at.

I have factory installed speakers in the bedroom slide out and the wiring for them is accessible from under the dash by the radio. Don't know about your rig.

Good luck.
