Got all the levelers up except the right rear. Lights flashing on control panel are rear, auto, man, jacks down. What other info does anyone need to help me get the right rear jack up. These are electric jacks. Genset running, engine running, parking brake set, tranny in neutral.

I had the same problem with the same jack on my one day old 2008 Terra last Thanksgiving. I had to release the brake on the bottom of the motor and use an electric drill and socked set to raise it manually. Was replaced under warranty when I got home.

How did you release the brake on the motor?

There is a lever inside the ruber boot on the bottom. Push up on the tab and rotate it approximately half an inch. I cut off the boot to find this out but you can do it with the boot on. Then the nut is located up above the motor on the gear housing as viewed form the bottom. You will need a socket and extesion long enough to reach it.

500 turns per retraction inch. Totally Crazy. Contact Atwood technical service for E-mail of lock out procedure, and keep it. We have had lots of lock out problems, and have to follow the procedure regularly. If that doesn't work , you can connect B+ and B- to the control module output wires to the jack and electrically retract them.

Update on Powergear Levelers. Replaced both rear "brakes" due to corrosion which was caused by the rubber boots leaking water. Power Gear replaced both under warranty and replaced all four booties with a "better" clamping mechanism.

If you hold the right, rear and either manual or auto, can't remember wich one, the leg should retract. Once retracted you may need to reset the system if the lights are still blinking. Hold down each set (rt rear, rt front, lt rear and lt front) while pushing auto for 8 seconds. This should extend each leg about 2 inches. Do each leg seperatly. After you complete this hold down all 4 at the same time(ft,rear,lt &rt). The green light in the center will light up. Then hit retract. All should retract.

You're exactly right Dick...I've done this several times. The problem I had was water had entered the rubber boot and the brake would not release, not even manually. I had to cut the two wires and move the leveler up manually. I've since learned, after cutting the wires, attach 12v and they will retract.
