Power Gear Slide Motor

Just replaced the main slide on my 2005 Pace Arrow. Part number is 523900.

On line chat with Lippert. That number and another I found on line, 1010000010 both crossed referenced with their part number 368417.

Lippert part $1045. The one I ordered $329. + shipping.

Motor is manufactured by Klauber Machine & Gear, a St. Louis company. I purchased it through CSH Electric Motor Supply Inc., Lansing MI.

Any motor I've bought with Klauber on it has been a lot better motor, quiter, and stronger...and that's been 3

I had a good experience with CHS and Klauber. The replacement for my slide motor was an exact replacement part.

Can't say. I had additional work done and the dealer didn't break it out. I'll find out after the holidays since I'm pretty sure I ended up paying more since I provided the part. A friend who has a 2004 Pace Arrow says he looked at his motor and didn't think it would take more than a half hour. He has a different model so that may not apply to mine. But looking at the motor, there's only 2 or 3 wires that have to be connected. Can't be that big a deal. I'm 75 and don't bend like I used to otherwise would have given it a try.

I also purchased from CSH the same pn. Didn't really fit my BR slide perfectly as the gear box was larger and bolt holes didn't line up. I made it work though as the alternative was, like you found, a much higher price elsewhere. Swapping a gear box wasn't an option either as there was a small crack in the housing and wanted the new unit complete.

But....good to see other posts with the same company etc. I found the same part on eBay later on from CSH for the same price with free shipping....I paid $14 shippingfrom them direct. :(
