Should the a/c run without the generator? Usually that's not the case. They need more power than the inverter can deliver, so you need shore power or generator. Is his fuel low? Generator will not run if there's less than 1/4 tank.

You say the Inverter will power the Air Conditioner (It is possible) but when Engine off and no shore power the Generator will not even turn over. Generator WILL start when plugged in however (I assume) or when main engine running.

You have no house batteries, they are completly FLAT, or not charged or disconnected.

In that case it could be the disconnect solenoid, It might also be a number of other things, Fuses, Switches, Loose connecitons (Generator 12 volt)

When you say "It does not do anything" I do have to ask, Nothing at all, No sound, if you have a 12 volt light on inside there is no change in the brilliance of the lamp, ZERO response.. Or does it load down the lights without turning over, or does it run but no electricity... All different solutions.
