On a recent trip the motor on Powergear jacks burnt out. I replaced the motor and the pump. The directions say to put the jacks to the ground, wait 30 seconds then retract. I started with the rear jacks they went down fine, but won't retract. I also noticed the red light jacks down wasn't lit. I tried the emergency procedure no luck. I ended up removing fluid so they would retract. Any ideas of what is wrong will be highly appreciated.

Fleetwood Storm 2001.

Thanks.

On the pump assembly are 4 valves, each valve has magnetic collar around it.. The valves are Right Rear, Left Rear, FRONT (both) and DUMP.. you either put the wrong collar on the dump valve, (Doubtful) or you forgot to put the collar (or to connect the collar) for the dump valve.

I didn't remove any of the collars or the valves. I just disconnected the wires, labeled them so I would put the correct wires back and replace the motor and the pump. I will check to see if any of them came loose and let you know.

Thanks.

Question on the collars, I never took them off. I do see the dump valve. I noticed on the other three there's a black cap with metal piece in the center. There's not one on the dump valve. Is this what you are talking about? If so, I didn't remove it.

Thanks for your help. This has me really stumped.
