I have not been able to locate my power steering unit, so I can check to see that I need to top it off, someone told me that it would be under my hood under the batteries but it wasn't there, can anyone tell me where to locate it? I have a 83 Pace Arrow

On my 1986 PA, it was under the foot pedals under the frame. To get to it, I removed the doghouse cover, and it took my whole arm length to reach it which was directly under the break/gas pedals on the frame itself. I took a big kitchen squeeze suction tube to suck up the old fluid and filled it up the same way. It was a little sloppy and I made a mess. But I got it..............

So you are telling me it is next to the master brake reservoir? To the left of the engine?

I will look again , I have looked everywhere in the area before and was unable to locate anything that resembles a power steering reservoir, so I must now ask does it look like every other power steering reservoir I have seen in trucks and cars?

Ooop's, I re-read your question, and I understood brake reservoir. Of what I remember, mine was in the front right side of the radiator.

Power steering pump is mounted to the lower left (driver) side of the engine. May have a access cap on top of it (left picture) or there may be a remote reservoir (right picture)
