Bounder: Powergear Ram Seals 800132S

I have rebuilt one out of 4 of my leveling jacks, which was not too bad of a job. I need to rebuild my front two which will require two 800132S seal kits. Has anyone just bought the parts from a hydraulic shop not in a kit? I would be interested to see if that was possible.

If you either have the old parts - or have not installed the new parts, you could probably go to a hydraulic supply and have them match the seals.

If the large metal insert part is scored you will probably have no choice other than buying the kit.

I stopped at a local hydraulic shop inquiring about a Power Gear right rear jack that slowly retracts after a day or so. He indicated that if no fluid is visable which would indicate seals leaking, probably the solenoid is defective for that line. He also indicated that his shop could supply the seals at a much lower price than Power Gear -- Also, anybody replace the solenoid - Power Gear kit # 359432 for $270 ??
