The basics
All Aluminum Pontiac block, four bolt mains, doweled, keyed and splayed bolts
Solid lift valley, dry deck
429 CI
Mechanical Alcohol injected
Blown (Littlefield)
Should be around 1,200 HP and should drive the dragster with ease to a 7.0 second quarter mile at 199 MPH
A Gillig chassis, you do not see many of those!
Merry Christmas

Unboxing and setup of Delta 31-140 12" Disc Sander/grinder
Well guys, I have made my third attempt at a YouTube video.
Unboxing and setup of a Delta 31-140 12" Disc Sander/Grinder.
You can view it at this link, I welcome input on how to make them better.
Remember this will translate into videos of projects on the Motor Home.
Merry Christmas

Need Help on Temerature control modeul
Help, I have questions on thermocouples and temperature controllers.
I need to pick you brain on how these things work.
My oven originally came with a Syscon rex-c100 temperature controller that displayed in Celsius. It had an internal 12 volt power supply to run the relay for the heating element.
I replaced it with a controller that displayed in Fahrenheit. It did not have the 12 volt power supply so I have red necked the unit to use the power supply in the rex-c100.
I wanted to clean up my mess so I reinstalled the rex-c100 but the internal temperature is incorrect.
I am thinking that it wants a K type thermocouple, the thermocouples in the over are J type. This would mean they the oven was shipped to me with the incorrect thermocouples.
Fee bay lists the off brand name rex-c100 at a very cheap price, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-PID...a932FS4g0U-dxw
Fee bay only list pre-owned Syscon Rex-c100 and the prices are quite a bit more expensive, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Syscon-Rex-...IAAOSwLyVZwRxj
New ones are very expensive. https://www.galco.com/repair/Syscon-RKC/REX-C100
Is there anyone out there that is willing to talk to me about this?
Thanks, Merry Christmas

Too cold to work on the Motor Home, 7 degrees last night
Lamp built from scrape engine parts.
This video is of a Christmas present that I will be giving to my number two Son, Arthur.
I have presented it in a unique manner, in that, I show the finish assemble and then show the build. That why you can chose to see just the final product or see the whole build.
I have no fear that Arthur will see his present before Christmas as he is unique in that he does not look at Facebook, E-mail, or YouTube. He does not use the computer at all. When he needs to access the computer he has a friend that does that for him. This means that I can release this video now.
The video of the presents that I will be giving to my Wife and number one Son, will have to wait until after Christmas. This is my fourth video for YouTube. I am open to input on how to make them better. I will be getting a second camera. I seem to get a lot of shots of my back. I am not sure how to show what I am working on, having a camera across me does not seem correct.
Merry Christmas

Another YouTube Project Build of another Christmas Present
So this is getting to be a habit.
Here is another Christmas Build of another Christmas Present.
This time for my Sister. She does not watch YouTube so, her loss is your gain.
I gave her a prototype last year and she has been complaining that he was lonely and wanted a girl friend.
I gave these metal guys out as a thank you to technical contributes to my Front Engine Dragster forum.
So we had to come up with a way of converting him over to a her. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
