Pros and Cons 05 Fleetwood Revolution LE

I'm looking at an 05 Revolution LE with the Cat C-9 400hp.
Looking for any and all info regarding this unit. Pros, cons, and everything in between. What kind of mileage can I expect with this unit? Is this a good engine? This unit has less then 15,000 miles. but all service has been done on it and was garage kept. Thanks for the help.

Hi Supercub, I own a 2005 Fleetwood Revolution. I have 25,000 mi on ours. Our windows are fogged. Can't get fleetwood to do anything about them. The clear coat on the paint finish is comming off on the front cap. I just recently install new Koni FSD shocks (4). Made a big big difference in road performance. Also added the AFE air filter, Aero Turbine exhaust and air bag restrictors. Other than that we really enjoy our unit.

It sounds like you found one that someone took care of and it still has years and years of life in it I have a 2007 c-9 different engine but great also had two window replace under warranty. If the price is right I'd say go for it, good clean and I say clean units are hard to fine.

More info on the AFE air filter setup and exhaust you used please. I just pulled my air filter housing to change the air filter and found out it is a sealed unit. How stupid is that!

And to stay on subject my 03 Revolution has the flaking paint on the front cap as well. I also had to replace the kitchen sink drain flex hose due to the constant in and out of the slide putting a hole in it. It is a poor design how they have the hose made to "flex" with the movement of the slide.

Well I bought my 05 Revolution LE 40E a couple of months ago and love it. It only had 9400 miles on it and it's like new. From what I understand peeling paint on the top front cap is somewhat common for some reason. Luckily so far mine is fine. I'm curious about that air filter too..and what the advantages are. Thanks
