Hi
I just noticed that when I'm hooked up to city water at a park, my providence uses the fresh water tank first. Am I doing something wrong? I thought when hooked up the rv would draw on the city water supply/pressure first and the fresh water tank would be drawn on when there was no city water pressure present.
Thanks
Ed

You should have a valve in the water/sewer compartment that you turn for "fill tank" or "?"water. I can't remember what the other position is but that's the position it should be in for park water.

What happens when you have city water hooked up and turned on and you turn the water pump off?

Your tab is still running. Did you get my pm with my address on where to send the contribution

And while you're poking around in there, I want you to remember this cause it will happen. One of these days you will start to take a shower and the water will be warm but certainly not hot, you have left one or both of the outside "shower" valves open and the hot water is mixing with the cold water.

Wonder how I know?

Jim how did you get so damn smart? or better yet how did I get so damn dumb ?? I have been running the water pump full time thinking it gave me better water pressure.... just turned it off and go figure... I don't even need it. I assume that is the fix I was a lookin' fur... so now I will not be pumping from my fresh water tank everytime I use water.
duh!
P.S. Check is in the mail

And for all of those out there judging me .... remember the irv2 mission! We're here to help newbies... Of course I won't be offering any help/advice for several more years.... after mastering RV for dummies

I'm certainly not smart, ask my friends, just a little more experienced.

Honestly Ed, I wish I had found this forum much sooner than I did. It would have made the learning curve much more palatable.
