The battery went bad on the remote for the locks on our 05' Discovery. Replaced the battery but the remote will not work. Is there a reprogram sequence? An help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late response...
Does one of the remotes still work or neither? One indicates a remote failure, but usually both means the controller is out.
The controller can re-learn new remote IDs, but shouldn't have to if it was only battery failure (cause the remote still has the same id). I'm not sure what system you have on your Discovery - may not be the same as my Tradition, which has both key fob remotes and fixed interior remote controls mounted in the coach itself.

Care to share it here? Somebody else may run into the same thing and need that solution.

Sorry, rude of me not to share. Posted by Steve First you must locate the remote receiver box, which is a box 4 1/2" x 3" with about 10 different color wires coming out of it. Mine was behind the center console (hinged door below radio). My manual states the following:
"Transmitter Code Learning: This keyless entry system can learn up to 4 different transmitters. To add additional or replacement transmitter follow the steps below: Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
Depress the black button on the control module 3 times.
Depress the "Lock" button on each new transmitter to be learned The LED will flash once when it learns the transmitter's code. Turn "OFF" the ignition switch".

Thanks - it will probably help somebody else some day.
Interesting that your system had to re-learn the code from that one remote. A dead battery is not supposed to cause a change of ID. Maybe it was dead long enough (days? weeks?) that it lost its entire programming???
