We need to remove the rear furnace so it can be repaired. Is there a better way than sawing out the closet floor? Thanks in advance!
Dan

I bet it's similar to my 95 Bounder. From the outside of the unit, remove the 4 screws holding the faceplate on, then remove the faceplate by pulling straight out.You will then have access to the furnace. Mine is held in place in it's cavity by a few screws across the front facing the furnace). You should not under any circumstances need to saw anything, unless the po did some customization. If this presents too much of a challenge, perhaps you should check with a local dealer for a bit of assistance. What type of repairs are you doing?

It blows but won't light. I think we need a circuit board. This is a J style bounder The front heater comes out thru the outside, but we've had it worked on before and the tech tried to get to it by removing a drawer under the closet. He said the closet floor would have to come out to get to it

Why can you not access it from the outside. . . by removing the faceplate/exterior access door? I am SURE you do not need to saw anything. The furnace is below that floor the dude references. Go outside the coach right at the point where the closet resides and find the access door (4 screws and a small attached chrome piece with two venting holes.)
