REV Service Center Coburg Walk-in suggestions?

Does anyone know the walk-in procedure for REV Coburg Oregon Service Center? Where to park? Best day to arrive? Any/all suggestions on how to navigate the service center as a walk-in appreciated!

REV Service Center Coburg Walk-in suggestions?

I know they try to accommodate but it all depends on how much time their scheduled repairs need and what exactly you are looking to have done. The other side is parts can take a while to get there once they diagnose...my guess is Monday would be the worst day to show up as that is a day they schedule a lot in

I've not yet been to the Coburg center but I have an appointment for Nov 1. If possible at all you should call ahead and get info. When I called for the appointment they were booked out a couple of weeks.

Some things I learned when making the appointment:

Their workday is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Even with an appointment you must check in at 6:00 AM the day of.

If you arrive the day before and get there before 2:30, you can check in and ask at the desk about overnight parking with hookups. If you arrive after 2:30 there is overflow parking in an adjacent lot where you can dry dock.

I have not been to Coburg but have been to Decatur and made several trips to Alvarado. Unless things have changed, here's what I learned at Alvarado only:

1. Work day, 6 AM to 2 PM.

2. They will not order parts until they have the coach...previously diagnosed or scheduled parts needed is irrelevant. They have virtually no parts on hand. All parts must be ordered from REV, who order them from the supplier...and eventually somebody ships them.

3. Drive up coaches have priority over coaches left for service. Their philosophy is the coach that pulls off the road with an issue, needs to get back on the road. The fact that you dropped off your coach and left, means you have plenty of time.

4. The shop rate is $140 per hour. I was charged nearly $450 to add some freon in the dash air system.

Bottom line, I will not go back unless there is a very serious problem and I can't get in at Decatur.
