Has any one had any problem with the main Driver's side slide on a
40E?. Our's go's out most of the way but stops 3 or 4 inches from the
outside wall. If we keep hitting the out button 30 or 40 times it will
complete it's travel. Worked Ok for the first 20 times, but has been
acting up ever since. if I go out side and pull on the bottom of the
slide while the DW holds the out button it comes all the way out OK.
Will get it looked at when we head south this Oct, but just wondering
if anyone else has had this problem? We haven't put that much stuff in
that slide, but even so, maybe it's too much.

Thanks JH

This was also posted on the Revolution Owners Group and our response was to inspect for something that is snagging the slide. Lifting the carpet and inspecting under the inside lower edge may expose that the screws that hold the trim that hold the carpet may have loosened. We caught ours before serious damage and another member had to have a slide removed for repair. If the slide moves too slowly, stops or causes a loud crunching noise, get it checked, EH!

The motor stops when the resistance gets too great, so something has increased in resistance to motion. The motor stop point can be adjusted, but that's not the answer. Find out what is causing the increase and the slide will work normally again.
