Revolution - help with the water by pass valves

I have 2004 Revolution and need help with the water by pass valves.
New to this style of by pass valves and it does not make sense. Nothing in any manuals around meaning. I am guessing there is a way to position the vales to by pass the water heater?
Also how do you get to the generator?

Thanks for any help or comments

I have 2 water heater bypass valves 1 is obvious and the other is hidden behind. As to the genny if you need to do anything besides changing oil filter coolant and fuel filter it has to be dropped. There is a trap door on the bottom for oil, filter, fuel filter
