I have a 2008 Revolution LE that has lost 12V power to the front bulkhead power stud that is connected to the ignition switch. It powers all the front dash features like visors, radio, defrost fans, steps, door locks etc. The customer service guys could not help. Does anyone know where the location of the fuse or relay might be for this?

There should be a major fuse bank under the entry step - most all chassis and dash functions go through there. There is also a major bulkhead connector on the passenger side firewall, where the major chassis wires pass through it. That connector has been problematic in Spartan chassis - water or corrosion gets in and you loose power to one or more circuits. Usually not everything, though. I'd be looking at the fuse bank first.

There is also a major fuse bank in the first compartment on drivers side behind black plywood cover you may try it. I had a power seat blow a fuse and it was in it.

As stated, look behind the panel by drivers compartment. You can also call AC tomorrow and they will email you with the actual prints for the build used for your coach.

Thx-Bugs

Thanks, for the help but so far no solution. The fuses are located behind the panel in the front under the driver as a couple of you have mentioned. This fuse block is powered by 2 12v power studs located just above the fuse block. One is connected to the main switch located at the entry door. This section of the fuse block works fine. The other stud is powered up when the ignition switch is on. This power stud never goes hot when the switch is turned on. I lost this while driving down the road. I have the prints from AC but this is not shown on their drawings. The spartan support team told me they install the studs on the bulkhead but they ship the power cable and relay/fuse to Fleetwood to install when they build the coach. The AC customer service guy gave up trying to get me the information and would not let me talk to the dealer service group. The local dealer is booked up for a month and I am 2000 miles from home. Does anybody have a contact at the fleetwood service facility? I am very dissappointed that AC does not seem to care about their customers. This is my last AC.

If you are talking the stud there should not be a fuse between it and the battery though there may be something called a fusible link (A piece of wire that does the same job)

If your rig has a main battery disconnect, that too is often between said stud and the battery.

But that stud, in a non-RV, is hard wired direct to the battery so the only thing I can think of is the disconnect switch. OR!!

On my coach, often (4 times so far) I have had it refuse to start on the chassis battery... Load testing on the battery showed it in showroom condition (LIKE NEW) and when I re-connected, it worked fine..

Sounds like a real problem right? Wrong... Dirty connector, cleaned and polished, have to do it every few years. (more often if I don't clean it properly) Last time was last year.... I do not think I'll have to do it again till 2012 or 2013

I'm not familiar enough with your particular coach to know exactly what you are describing as a "power stud", but the ignition controlled items you mention are probably controlled from the signal derived from the BCC (Battery Control Center). Download and print this document http://intellitec.com/PDF/5300606.100.pdf and it may help in the resolution of your problem.

If this proves to NOT be the exact unit installed in your MH, visit the Intellitec web site Service Manuals and select the correct BCC from the list.

Thanks for the help! It was a fuseable link in the engine compartment that was out. There is a 150 amp fuseable link on the main 12v supply cable that runs to the front bulkhead to power the ignition related items in the front fuse block.

I just love it when a plan comes together. The big question why did it blow?
