Rollertrol replacement motors for blinds

Hi, I am looking for folks that have experience in replacing their Automotion shade/blind motors with the Rollertrol motor.

I am having an issue with mine and have found that I cannot get the Rollertrol motor to work with my system, but I can get it to work if I hook it direct to the chassis battery.

If you have actual experience in this please comment.

UPDATE: Found the power shades/blinds have a controller that operates them. The controller is what is stopping the Rollertrol motor from working as the Rollertrol motor has a higher power draw which makes the controller think there is a problem and shuts the motor down instantly

The solution is to get the exact motor (not made anymore) or reprogram the controller. I spoke with the controller MFG and they thought reprogramming may fix the problem but could effect all other shades negatively as well.
