RV won't start unless disconnect switches are on

I have a 1999 Fleetwood Bounder 36s with the Ford V10. I cannot start the engine unless I turn on my disconnect switches. I know I can trace the wiring diagram to see what is going on but I wanted to see if anyone has had this problem and can save me time by finding what may be wrong.

Welcome to the Forum.

This is normal.. If the chassis battery is disconnected with the disconnect/connect switches, you cannot start the engine..

There is a safeguard in the BCC (Battery Control Center) that prevents you from accidentally doing a "disconnect" when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

That is what is suppose to happen. The switches (house or chassis) will activate a solenoid that will disconnects the chassis or house battery so smalls loads like a radio or forgotten storage compartment light left on do not drain the battery while the coach is not being used and power for a maintenance charge is not available.
