A couple of years ago, I was watching my B,I,L attempt to use the black tank flush for the first time, on his new Jayco travel trailer. We could hear the water flowing thru the fresh water hose, but could hear or feel nothing flowing thru the sewer hose . Tried opening the grey valve, in case it was plumbed wrong, still nothing.
To this day, I have no idea where that fresh water was going

Well, from my limited experience, the water went through my hose to the sani-flush connection on the side of the RV and just sat there at the check valve that was obviously failed closed. It may sound like the water is going somewhere through the hose, but unless you hear the water flowing inside the black tank (I can on mine), then it's blocked up somewhere!
