Am trying to figure out where the satellite cable runs between the park cable inlet (in the left/rear electrical bay), and the satellite receiver box on a 2000 American Eagle.

Am currently running an HD Direct TV dish outside the coach, to an HD receiver in the coach - the coax comes through the driver's window. Shot the cable that goes in to the aux port of the switch box down to the electrical bay, and get no continuity. Want to trace the cable along its length and have been unable to see the coax inside the basement bays. Is there a conduit that it passes through from the rear to the front?

Thanks for your help!

Have you tried connecting the outside cable to the "park" cable connector in the outside bay? Then the splitter box would send it to the back.

Having messed all month with my 1999 Tradition's TV cabling - I think it runs under the angle piece in side the cupboards on the driver side - put the slide out and remove the screws that hold that 5" strip along the ceiling/wall join. Pull out the insulation and you should see the cable bundle - I think the rear TV cable is in here too.
The cable to the TV runs down the driver pillar and across to the TV.

Hope this helps - Stephen

Thank you everyone for your inputs!!!! My Standard Definition TVs now receive the outside (on the ground) satellite dish signal. I still don't know where the cable run is, but that has taken on way less importance since it all works.

The DirecTV tech came out, temporarily installed a "tuner" (looks like a plug) in the cable inlet in the service bay, then used a second gadget to check each and every cable in the receiver area - a sort of continuity check. Turns out the Park Cable fed straight to the VCR (UHF-In), not the old Sat receiver like I was told. We hooked the new-found cable to the new SD receiver (SAT-In), and bingo, we have TV in the front and back.

Now that THAT problem is solved, I need to figure out why the roof-top satellite elevates itself, but does not move even a little bit to skew to the correct coordinates.... it's always something, eh?!?!

Thanks everyone for your inputs!
